The easiest thing in the world is falling in love. The saddest thing in the world is loving someone who doesn't love you. The hardest thing in the world is learning to let go.
Falling in love is so easy. We can surrender to someone and everything would be alright but love isn't all about the positives. Letting yourself love means you're willing to risk a broken heart. Everyone experiences rejection at some point in their lives, whether it's rejection from a close friend or from someone you have feelings for. We can't force people to like us. We can't be stuck on one person forever if they don't like you back. Staying focused on one person could blind us and blur our eyes from seeing the beauty of other people. We all have to move on and find love elsewhere because after all, love can't be forced. Moving on can be hard but the scars will heal and we'll learn to cope with it and let them go.
Rejection doesn't mean you're not perfect just the way you are. It just means that they can't see your beautiful qualities and can't truly appreciate you for who you are. It can hit hard and shatter a perfectly loving heart but time will heal a broken heart if you allow it to mend.
